Community Water Systems rates do vary. If you live somewhere within our original service area, you will enjoy the lowest minimum rates offered by CWS. If you've located on a new extension area, your rates will be slightly higher. If you live in a city or water association area receiving wholesale water service, your rates are determined by that city ... not Community Water System.

Line Extension Rates for New Service Areas are Determined by...
1.) The amount of taps (or users) to be serviced by the extention.
2). The amount of grant money received for the project.
3). The debt service amount... or the minimum amount that must be collected to repay the loan portion. (This is negotiated with the Funding Agencies in advance).
Since loans are necessary to fund line extensions, new users must share the repayment burden.
